San Diego-based artist Lindsay Kaye knew from the age of five that performing was in her blood. A singer, dancer, and actress since her early years, she has always felt most alive in the spotlight. Lindsay Kaye earned her Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Dance and is currently a full-time special education teacher, but she has always had an artistic streak that couldn’t be bound to one medium. After she tried her hand at writing songs, she found that lyrics began pouring out, and her sound developed into one that is all at once sultry, dreamy, and electric.

 

One of her first singles, “Tremors” was released in 2019 which explores the darkness that fills our minds in the dead of night: “In my nightmares / In the atmosphere / In my broken mirror / Tremors” and comes complete with a haunting, catchy chorus. Her new single, “Have Fun In Austin” will debut in February 2024.

With influences ranging from Taylor Swift to Julia Michaels, this on-the-rise singer/songwriter plans to release more music in 2024. She has come a long way since that five-year-old on stage, but what was true then is just as true now: Lindsay Kaye has something to say.
